Local Patients

Chronic Hemodialysis

Prospective patients will undertake the required in-take reviews, which include consultations with the Nephrologists, Clinical Psychologist and Dietician, and the required laboratory tests. The results of this review include patients being given a firm schedule for their dialysis treatment.

During full operations, Sahel Health will undertake four (4) haemodialysis sessions a day between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. six (6) days a week from Monday through Saturday.

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) Treatment

Acute kidney damage (AKI) occurs when your kidneys abruptly cease working properly. It might range from a small loss of renal function to total kidney failure. AKI causes a buildup of waste products in your blood and makes it hard for your kidneys to keep the right balance of fluid in your body. It can also affect other organs such as the brain, heart, and lungs.

AKI usually develops because of another major illness. It is not the result of a physical hit to the kidneys, as the name implies. This sort of kidney disease is frequently observed in patients who are in hospital, in intensive care units or older persons who are sick with other conditions and the kidneys are also impacted. It's crucial that AKI is recognised early and treated swiftly.
