Dr Akosua Ampomah Asomaning obtained her MBChB from the School of Medical Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

She then pursued a speciality in Internal Medicine at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

She has a certificate in nephrology from the College of Physicians in South Africa and an MPhil in Nephrology from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

She is a fellow of the International Society of Nephrology. She is also a member of the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians.

She has over 10 years experience in practicing medicine and is very passionate about her work.
