Prof. Boima is a practicing Nephrologist, with 10 years of nephrology experience, and is currently the Head Nephrologist at the Renal Unit at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Prof. Boima completed his fellowship with the International Society of Nephrology (“ISN”) at Stellenbosch University in 2009 and is a fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of both Ghana and South Africa. Prof. Boima is currently a lecturer at the University of Ghana Medical School.

Prof. Boima is very much interested in academia and is actively involved in research in Ghana for the monitoring and management of kidney disease and how it impacts our communities.
